The go-to network for thrillers for the fans of Korean dramas, OCN, has brought one more show for the viewers — Tell Me What You Saw. It is also about a serial killer (at this point, I’m not sure when was the last time when a Korean drama didn’t have one) but what sets it among top anticipated shows is its lead cast: Jang Hyuk and Sooyoung. I like both of them a lot and I’m hoping this show will deliver something good.

Jang Hyuk plays a genius profiler who has an eccentric personality. He joins hands with rookie detective with a photographic memory, played by Sooyoung and a police chief, played by Jin Seo Yeon (Shine or Go Crazy). The trio works together to chase a serial killer who everyone thought was dead.

Jang Hyuk’s last drama was sageuk My Country and Sooyoung appeared in 2017’s weekender Man Who Sets the Table. Yes, it’s been 3 years since her last show but in between she did So I Married an Anti-Fan (co-starring Choi Tae Joon) which is yet to receive a premiere date. I was actually looking forward to the latter for the fun plot and the lead pair ~sigh~.

Tell Me What You Saw premiered on February 1 in the weekend slot. It is helmed by the PD of Bachelor’s Vegetable Store.
