Rain is back with a new drama! He has confirmed to star in upcoming fantasy drama Ghost Doctor. The story sounds funny with a potential to be filled with crazy shenanigans. Kim Bum also joins him as his costar. The title definitely has opposing theories — medical science and ghosts!

Rain and Kim Bum play two doctors with entirely different personalities and skills. One day, their souls get exchanged and hijinks follow. Son Na Eun of pop group Apink plays an emergency room intern who believes in the supernatural. I really like Rain and Kim Bum, and despite being a medical genre — not exactly my favourite — it sounds fun. Rain has previously worked in another soul possession drama, Come Back, Ahjussi. And well, Kim Bum is not new to fantasy either — he did Tale Of The Nine Tailed last year. The actor just recently wrapped Law School while Rain’s last TV show was Welcome 2 Life, also a fantasy drama. Son Na Eun has worked in shows like Dinner Mate and Second 20s (aka Twenty Again).

Ghost Doctor is penned by the writer of well-received Live Up To Your Name and directed by the PD of My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho and Heirs. It is yet to decide on the broadcast network and premiere date, which will most likely be in 2021.
