I love Yoo Seung Ho. And I’m excited for his new drama Moonshine, which is a sageuk, but also a romantic comedy. It stars Hyeri of Kpop group Girl’s Day opposite him. The actress has worked in dramas like Reply 1988, Two Cops and recently in My Roommate Is a Gumiho. Yoo Seung Ho’s last small screen appearance was in fantasy thriller Memorist.

Yoo Seung Ho plays a a principled inspector in the Joseon era, while Hyeri stars as the woman from a noble family who starts making illegal alcohol in order to pay off debts of her family. Byun Woo Suk (Record Of Youth) plays crown prince who is alcoholic and Kang Mi Na (Hotel Del Luna) stars as a noblewoman.

Moonshine is penned by the writer of Drama Special Such a Long Farewell. It follows another historical show The King’s Affection. It takes up the slot of Monday & Tuesday on KBS. The show definitely looks cute!
