I love Yoo Seung Ho. And I’m excited for his new drama Moonshine, which is a sageuk, but also a romantic comedy. It stars Hyeri of Kpop group Girl’s Day opposite him. The actress has worked in dramas like Reply 1988, Two Cops and recently in My Roommate Is a Gumiho. Yoo Seung Ho’s last small screen appearance was in fantasy thriller Memorist. Continue reading →

I have to say I’m not exactly a fan of sageuks (Korean historical TV dramas for the uninitiated) but I do love some fusion in them (Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Moonlight Drawn By Clouds) and the new JTBC drama Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency looks like it is fitting that bill. It is based on a 2014 novel and is about a king who employs the help of a matchmaking company to get married to his first love. I’m on board already! Continue reading →
