I love stories that feature people teaming up as they go about tackling social evils. The new MBC drama Doctor Lawyer is of the same category where a brilliant surgeon turned lawyer joins hands with a prosecutor to punish those who think wealth and power is more worthy than a person’s life.

So Ji Sub (Master’s Sun, Oh My Venus) plays a genius surgeon whose medical license gets revoked after a surgery goes wrong. He then starts practicing as a lawyer dealing with cases on medical malpractice. Im Soo Hyang (My ID Is Gangnam Beauty) plays a prosecutor and they start working together to punish criminals involved in medical malpractice and negligence. The actress is currently starring in Woori The Virgin. Shin Sung Rok (Liar Game, Kairos) plays enigmatic head of a firm specializing in lobby and investment.
