I love Cho Seung Woo (also spelled as Jo Seung Woo). My love started with his movie The Classic many years back and the admiration continued with his latest drama series Stranger (Forest Of Secrets). The actor will be next seen in JTBC drama called Sacred Divorce. Han Hye Jin of One Warm Word and Jumong fame joins him in the lead role.

Based on a hit webtoon, Sacred Divorce is about a talented divorce lawyer, played by Cho Seung Woo, who was formerly a music professor, but due to certain circumstances, he is presently working as a lawyer. Han Hye Jin plays a radio DJ who once worked as a weather reporter. She gets involved with the hero when she is in the middle of her divorce proceedings.

Sacred Divorce is adapted by the writer of shows Entertainer, Encounter and recent Thirty Nine. Well, I can’t say I’m a huge fan of her writing but Cho Seung Woo is the sole reason I’m so excited for this show. As much as I love his character Hwang Si Mok and show Stranger, I’m absolutely thrilled to see him in a different role. I dropped Sisyphus: The Myth like a hot potato lol.

Sacred Divorce will air in the first half of 2023.
