I love Shin Hye Sun! She started her career with supporting roles and she won everyone’s heart with her sterling performances in dramas like Stranger, Still 17 and Mr. Queen. The actor has conformed her next drama — a fantasy titled See You In My 19th Life. Ahn Bo Hyun has been cast as the male lead. He also started out with supporting roles in dramas like Itaewon Class and Kairos, with playing the main roles in shows like Yumi’s Cells and Military Prosecutor Doberman.

See You In My 19th Life is based on a webtoon and centers around a woman who remembers all her past lives. Shin Hye Sun stars as said woman, presently living her 19th life but in search of her love from her 18th life. That person is played by Ahn Bo Hyun. He suffered the loss of his first love during childhood (heroine in her 18th life) and currently lives a solitary life and has no interest in relationships.

The drama has also confirmed casting of Ha Yun Kyung (Extraordinary Attorney Woo) who plays a landscape architect and heroine’s sister from her 18th life. Ahn Dong Gu (Sweet Home) rounds out the cast as hero’s secretary and childhood friend.

I find the premise very interesting. The drama is adapted by the writer of movie Dear Dolphin (2013). It is scheduled to premiere in first half of 2023 on tvN.
