Kim So Hyun has proven her acting prowess through many shows as a child star (The Moon Embracing The Sun, Rooftop Prince) and as a leading lady (The Tale of Nokdu, Love Alarm). She has confirmed her new drama — Useless Lies. It’s a fantasy drama about a woman who has the ability to detect lies.

Kim So Hyun plays the aforementioned woman. She views this ability as a curse as she is incapable of trusting anyone, but she tries to use it for good by helping people as a liar hunter. This is how she meets a man who has been accused of murder but claims he is innocent. The show will be a mystery romance and Minhyun (former member of Kpop group NU’EST) is in talks to play the main lead. I’m excited about his casting as I loved him a lot in Alchemy of Souls.

Useless Lies has not confirmed network yet and it is slated for a 2023 premiere.
