The Frog is such a simple title and yet so uncommon — it is an upcoming Netflix Korean drama which has confirmed its main cast with Yoon Kye Sang, Kim Yun Seok, Go Min Si and Lee Jung Eun in lead roles. The plot sounds quite intriguing. The show marks Kim Yun Seok’s return to dramaland after many years, his last drama being 2006’s Love Me When You Can. He had been active in films since then.

The Frog is a thriller about two men running a vacation cottage, shown in different timelines. Yoon Kye Sang (The Kidnapping Day) ran the cottage in the past in early 2000s but he lost everything important to him due to an incident that happened there. In the present, another man, played by Kim Yun Seok (The Chaser), runs the same place. His life gets disturbed when one day a guest (Go Min Si; Sweet Home) arrives there. Lee Jung Eun (Daily Dose Of Sunshine) stars as a police chief who was stationed in the nearest police station 20 years ago and who is again  transferred to the same place. She is someone who loves solving things and is very persistent. Kpop group EXO‘s Chanyeol (Memories Of The Alhambra) plays a mysterious man.

The Frog is also going by the title In the Woods With No One. The setting of woods contributes in making this story really creepy. The drama is helmed by the PD of hit shows like The World Of The Married and Misty.
