I’m excited for upcoming JTBC rom-com Frankly Speaking. It looks funny and cute and contains actors that I really like. It is arriving this Wednesday on May 1.

Frankly Speaking stars Go Kyung Pyo (Love In Contract) as a well-respected news anchor who faces an incident that results in him losing his ability to self-censor. So now he is unable to lie and speaks without thinking first. Which is particularly a struggle considering his job as an announcer. Kang Ha Na (Bloody Heart) plays an enthusiastic TV variety show writer who becomes interested in him after that incident (due to his present harsh language) and she invites him on her variety show. Finally, Joo Jong Hyuk (Extraordinary Attorney Woo) will play her ex-boyfriend who is a popular trot singer.

Frankly Speaking will air in the slot of Wednesdays and Thursdays. It will be available on Netflix too.
