June doesn’t have a deluge of premieres but we are getting shows belonging to different kinds of genres. My overall interest level isn’t very high but I do think I can add some of them to my plan list.

Thoughts: Another drama with a movie actor who is starring in his very first Kdrama after working exclusively in movies for many years. This show is looking great in terms of potential — the powerhouse cast and the writer of acclaimed shows like Punch and The Chaser.

Thoughts: There aren’t many horror Korean dramas so this surely gets points for trying something in the genre. And having an omnibus format — more points. The show plans to release three episodes as a movie first and the remaining episodes in second half of 2024.

Thoughts: I will always have fondness for Han Chae Young as her drama Delightful Girl Choon Hyang was my first and one of my most favorite dramas ever! But Scandal looks way too over-the-top and long. It’s another addition to the typical revenge makjang category.
