I’m super excited for upcoming Netflix Kdrama Can This Love Be Translated! There are quite a few reasons for that: it stars two of my favorite actors, Kim Seon Ho (Hometown Cha Cha Cha) and Go Youn Jung (Moving), it’s written by the Hong Sisters (Delightful Girl Choon Hyang, You’re Beautiful, The Greatest Love) and it’s a contemporary rom-com. I’m liking it a lot for its low-key, subdued vibe with sometimes unique, sometimes realistic and natural moments and conversations. I’m always giddy for the main couple and I love the way it’s written. It surely reminds me of the PD’s previous shows’ pairings in terms of style. Continue reading

I’m low-key looking forward to new JTBC rom-com My Sweet Mobster. Despite the cutesy (but funny) bright pink posters, the Korean drama sounds cute and I’m always excited when an actor appears in a role that’s different from most of their previous ones. Especially when an actor known for serious projects/roles stars in a rom-com! In this case, it’s Uhm Tae Goo (Coin Locker Girl, Save Me 2). Continue reading
