Ji Hyun Woo stole everyone’s heart in Queen In Hyun’s Man (2012) but I haven’t seen any of his projects ever since that drama. Sometimes I wasn’t interested and sometimes it was the timing of it. Anyway, he has confirmed his next drama — a weekend drama opposite Im Soo Hyang, who was last seen in Kokdu: Season Of Deity last year. The show is titled Beauty And The Devoted and it is penned by the writer of Young Lady And Gentleman, which also starred Ji Hyun Woo and was a superhit weekender back in 2021 and the actor also bagged the Grand Prize at the KBS Drama Awards for the same. Heirs was a weird case where I enjoyed it a lot while watching it because I was fangirling over Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye but I can totally understand that it was a heavily flawed drama. I also liked Park Hyun Sik (Happiness) in it, who has since shown his talent through many shows and as a main lead too. He is reuniting with Shin Hye in JTBC’s new drama — Doctor Slump and this time opposite her. I’m truly excited for this drama; I mean a rom-com that stars these two!! It’s a no-brainer decision for me to watch it. The show also marks Park Shin Hye’s comeback drama— her last show was 2021’s Sisyphus: The Myth. Continue reading →
