I admit that A New Leaf did not have that high level of energy in its first week but it was compelling enough to make me look forward to the upcoming episodes. I like that the show established just enough description about our characters, especially Suk Joo, as he is the one who will undergo personality makeover after his accident and what is the use of it all if the viewers can’t notice that change. So the show did a deft job in just two episodes so Continue reading →

New MBC drama A New Leaf is here taking over the Wednesday – Thursday slot. I’m amazed how the show efficiently managed to smoothly move from comical situations to more serious and dramatic ones. We have been introduced to the players and their relationships and I liked the first week of the drama, which was a nice mix of everything — bickering leads, charismatic lawyers, unscrupulous  guys, thoughtful silences. A New Leaf is hands down my most anticipated drama in the new products coming out from drama machine. Kim Myung Min is of course the supreme reason but I’m also loving the overall feel I’m getting about it. It looks like a nice cocktail of emotions, comedy, intelligence (with respect to fighting cases in court) and hopefully romance (please, Continue reading →

A New Leaf is heading towards its premiere like greased lightning as it is all set with cast and filming, releasing promotional materials with full swing. Kim Myung Min, Kim Sang Joong and Park Min Young lead the drama based on law with our hero playing a cold and cunning top-notch lawyer who improves his ideas and heart after he suffers from amnesia. Kim Sang Joong stars as his mentor as well as the CEO in the law firm while Continue reading →

I’m as keen as a mustard to join the train of upcoming spring premieres with dramaland offering so many exciting shows (at least that’s what I hope looking from the outset). The first few weeks of April are overflowing with finales and endings and culminations of the shows that have glued the viewers from at least two months. I’m all ready to welcome the new crop as I didn’t find much interesting shows in previous season except God’s Gift – 14 Days (have I become too selective?!). With new premieres, comes the promotions in full Continue reading →

Full of laughs and full of warmth.
I really liked the subtle, soft and indie-like start of The Interest Of Love.
