Kang Ki Young has graced our screens with memorable supporting roles in several Korean dramas like High School King of Savvy (2014), Oh My Ghost (2015), What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim? Heirs was a weird case where I enjoyed it a lot while watching it because I was fangirling over Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye but I can totally understand that it was a heavily flawed drama. I also liked Park Hyun Sik (Happiness) in it, who has since shown his talent through many shows and as a main lead too. He is reuniting with Shin Hye in JTBC’s new drama — Doctor Slump and this time opposite her. I’m truly excited for this drama; I mean a rom-com that stars these two!! It’s a no-brainer decision for me to watch it. The show also marks Park Shin Hye’s comeback drama— her last show was 2021’s Sisyphus: The Myth. Continue reading →

Action comedy ‘Flex X Cop’ arrives tomorrow with Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Ji Hyun

I’m looking forward to upcoming SBS drama Flex X Cop — I like the cast, I love action-comedies and this one uses the fun trope of serious/immature detective duo. Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Ji Hyun are reuniting here after Yumi’s Cells (2021). Both the actors started their careers with supporting roles (Ahn Bo Hyun in Her Private Life, Itaewon Class, Descendants Of The Sun, etc.; Park Ji Hyun in Do You Like Brahms?, Reborn Rich, etc.) and it’s so good to see them now as main leads in their projects.
