Choi Jin Hyuk has been acting in dramas for a few years now with shows like Pasta, Panda And Hedgehog, I Need Romance under his filmography, but his star making turn came with Gu Family Book, well on its finale week, as Lee Seung Gi‘s father. As I’m a latecomer for this fantasy sageuk, I have seen only two episodes starring him and he totally won me over with his inherent charisma and adorability. His voice also has that unique tone that makes him much more attractive. It is also a great thing that his next project will be the high-profile Heirs as Lee Min Ho‘s half brother, a drama set in high school with super rich kids. He will be playing a chaebol and the one who is perfect in everything. I can very well imagine that he will be superb and absolutely fit in that role.
Choi Jin Hyuk is looking dashing and handsome in these photo spreads for Volume 103 of High Cut. I love his casual and urbane style (which is as far from his mythical creature get-up as possible) that makes him look all the more charming. It’s a nice introduction for me as I have seen him in only one drama and that is a historical one. By the way, he is also contributing to one of the songs from the Gu Family Book OST and it’s called Best Wishes to You. Haven’t got the chance to hear it yet, but I’m sure it will be rocking just like him.
