After continued series Let’s Eat, another drama’s second installment is heading our way. OCN thriller Voice aired in 2017 and now the show is ready with a season 2 in the form of Voice 2, with a new hero as well — Lee Jin Wook (I Need Romance 2012, Nine) is replacing Jang Hyuk (Fated To Love You) who headlined season 1 which garnered high ratings during its run. I didn’t watch it but had read good reviews, along with it being very dark and gritty and gory, as is the case with most of the OCN dramas. I really enjoyed Lee Jin Wook’s acting in The Three Musketeers, so I’m hoping another great turn by him here as well.
Set around 112 emergency call center, Voice is bringing back Lee Ha Na (High School King Of Savvy) in the role of a voice profiler who has exceptional capability of hearing. Lee Jin Wook stars as a detective who is cold socially but has the ability to tap into a criminal’s mind and analyse a crime scene perfectly.
Voice 2 comes from the same writer who penned season 1 (as well as I Am Legend and Save The Last Dance For Me) but is directed this time by the PD of both seasons of thriller Ten and Missing Noir M. It starts airing this week from 11th August. The posters are already giving me chills!
