Seo Ye Ji was magical in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay and now she is making a comeback with new tvN drama called Eve. Its revenge-based plot sounds like it belongs to weekend and daily soaps category. The show is premiering tomorrow in the slot of Wednesday & Thursday.
Seo Ye Ji plays a woman who is planning revenge against those responsible for destroying her family. One of the main culprits is a rich businessman played by Park Byung Eun. This is definitely a new kind of role for the actor as we have mostly seen him play comic characters before (Oh My Baby, Because This Is My First Life). Yoo Sun (VIP) plays his wife, who is also the daughter of a powerful politician. She is outwardly perfect but is actually an anxious woman. Lee Sang Yeob (Good Casting, Nice Guy, Once Again) rounds out the cast as the youngest member of National Assembly, who is in love with the main lead and knows about her tragedy too.
Eve is penned by the writer of Good Witch and Birth Of A Beauty. I love the solo poster featuring Seo Ye Ji – it’s so striking and powerful.
