It’s time for my drama watch update! I have been busy for past few weeks, and that affected my viewing meter. The year 2023 is ending soon (where did the time go!) and like everyone else, I’m trying to catch up on shows that I planned on watching — but failing 😂. For now, this is my current status:

Castaway Diva (2023)

Watched: 9 Episodes

I have been enjoying Castaway Diva but now towards the end, I feel like the charm of the drama has fizzled out. I eagerly waited for Mok Ha and Ki Ho to reunite but the show isn’t focusing on their relationship much. There is also the issue of two very different arcs and vibes in the drama — the success story of Mok Ha and the brothers and their crazy birth father. Anyway, my hope is the last 3 episodes are more about romance, warmth and sunshine rather than the chills and thrills of the latter arc.

The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract (2023)

Watched: 5 Episodes

This show is my current jam! It’s so cute and funny and ebullient — bringing back the classic rom-com vibes on our screens. Lee Se Young is simply amazing in it! Perfect balance of romance, comedy and fantasy.

Moving (2023)

Watched: 1 Episode

I didn’t plan to watch Moving initially despite the big names in the cast as the plot didn’t interest me much. But the reviews were so solid that I had to check it out. And I’m definitely impressed and intrigued by the first episode. Hopefully I will finish its 20 (that’s like 100 in this era of shorter dramas) episodes run soon!
