Not finished, not fully figured out—but definitely worth talking about. Here are the shows I’m currently watching and my thoughts so far:
Still Shining (2026)
Watched: 2 Episodes
The drama has an old-school vibe — it reminds me of classic Korean melo romance films. Sweet, innocent and soft. It is also a gorgeous show with its beautiful cinematography. There is an unhurried pace which does not feel dragging but adds to the feels of it. I also like that the drama, despite being about exes-to-lovers, starts from the past, rather than giving us flashbacks from the present — it is a new approach and also helps in getting closer to the main couple and rooting for them in an effective way.
The Art Of Sarah (2026)
Watched: 2 Episodes
Such an intriguing drama! The show has a strange mix of two kinds of vibes — thriller in the present and flashbacks infused with drama and subtle humor. With each new information, we get to know more about Sarah but also face more questions. It keeps viewers right alongside the investigators, uncovering clues and mysteries at the same pace. I’m curious to see how all the pieces come together.
Next on my plan:
Siren’s Kiss
Phantom Lawyer
Mad Concrete Dreams
Climax
In Your Radiant Season
To My Beloved Thief
I Dol I
Your immediate to-watch list looks kinda full. 🙂
I fully watched just two cdramas this month; Unveil: Jadewind and Pursuit of Jade. Oh, didn’t even notice that both titles have ‘jade’ in them. 😄
Well, the first one isn’t much to write home about as I don’t even remember what the story was about, LOL. Pursuit of Jade – I loved the begining but started kinda loosing interest once the story moved out of the village and it got less OTP and family/friends focused. The palace politics made me yawn as per usual. The OTP is lovely though and the whole thing looks so good. The director did his magic again, he really is very good with actors.
I’ve got bunch of dramas that I’ve started but are currently on hold. Not sure which ones will eventually get done. I might pick up How Dare You first as it’s the most likely candidate not to be dropped.
Haha that list looks full but let’s see if I can manage to start and continue watching at least one 😀
Pursuit of Jade sounds good but looks like the palace politics is equally boring as it is in Kdramas 🤪
Do you have any Korean drama in your plan in near future?
Pursuit of Jade is totally worth watching, imho, even with the boring palace politics. At least it has a pair of deranged adversaries to take off the edge, ha. Those two Su brothers are total loose cannons but sort of entertaining. Both of the actors are very good in the roles as well.
Yes, there are few kdramas that I’ve been contemplating for a while, You and Everything Else and My Beloved Thief. Phantom Lawyer has supposedly had a fun start.
