I first heard about Suzy when she was cast for Big, as I didn’t see Dream High up till then.  I wasn’t greatly impressed by her acting in the latter, but felt that she was likable. Her character was also written in such a manner that she had to act expressionless. She was completely fit for that role. Same goes for Big, where I loved her scenes with Baek Sung Hyun. Kim Sun Ah is an actress who I really adore. I’m not her fan, but I think she was super awesome in My Name Is Kim Sam Soon (her only drama I’ve seen) and also she carries each look with a class. She has mostly acted in romantic comedies like City Hall and more recent I Do, I Do and some melodramas like Scent Of A Woman (which I really wanna watch), but all in all a lighter fare. It’s a good thing that we can see her in a new kind of role in the forthcoming revenge film The Five, which is based on a webtoon. Continue reading →

I’m really excited for the upcoming fantasy sageuk Gu Family Book, the major reason being my love for Lee Seung Gi. I’m not a historical drama fan, but if it involves fusion elements, I’m all in. I was wondering how my favorite actor will look in a sageuk role, and with his first stills released, I’m rest assured that there will be lots of cuteness galore from his side.
