Hospital Playlist warmed everyone’s heart with its sweet and emotional story last year. The show is coming back tomorrow on tvN as well as Netflix with its season 2. I’m super excited! The drama has a unique fusion of medical and slice-of-life genres. The show comes from the PD-writer team of Reply series (Answer Me series) and in the same lines, it simply touches your heart and makes you fall in love with its characters and relationships. I highly recommend Hospital Playlist. You can read my detailed review here. Continue reading →

June seems to be the month of second seasons and webtoon adaptations. So many dramas are coming back with their second installment. To the uninformed, Korean dramas usually don’t have a multi season arc, with the story being told from start to finish in a single season which normally has an episode range from 16 to 20. In recent years, we are seeing more shows with a multiple season trend. Well, if I love a show and its characters, I’m all ready for one more serving! Continue reading →

Crash Landing On You has given new wings to the Korean wave. The popularity of Korean dramas started increasing internationally during the early 2000s but it was still a niche fan following. Since its premiere in December 2019, Crash Landing On You has taken the world by storm. So many people across the globe who were unaware of the wonderful world of Kdramas, have become new fans. The credit also goes to the universal appeal of Netflix which makes it easier to reach more viewers. Continue reading →

Hospital Playlist was one of the best Korean dramas from last year and one of its highlights for me was the lovely soundtrack that made the whole experience much more amazing. The show’s music consists of covers of popular Korean songs released in the 1990s and 2000s, garnishing them with a fresh flavour. The soundtrack right away brings the soothing feeling of nostalgia and old-school. Needless to say, the OST is currently on loop for me! Continue reading →

Hospital Playlist hits a home run with its brilliant concoction of the slice-of-life and medical genres, topped with oodles of warmth. It’s certainly one of my favorites this year. Maybe the most favourite. Continue reading →

Full of laughs and full of warmth.
I really liked the subtle, soft and indie-like start of The Interest Of Love.
