The Frog is such a simple title and yet so uncommon — it is an upcoming Netflix Korean drama which has confirmed its main cast with Yoon Kye Sang, Kim Yun Seok, Go Min Si and Lee Jung Eun in lead roles. The plot sounds quite intriguing. The show marks Kim Yun Seok’s return to dramaland after many years, his last drama being 2006’s Love Me When You Can. He had been active in films since then. Ji Hyun Woo stole everyone’s heart in Queen In Hyun’s Man (2012) but I haven’t seen any of his projects ever since that drama. Sometimes I wasn’t interested and sometimes it was the timing of it. Anyway, he has confirmed his next drama — a weekend drama opposite Im Soo Hyang, who was last seen in Kokdu: Season Of Deity last year. The show is titled Beauty And The Devoted and it is penned by the writer of Young Lady And Gentleman, which also starred Ji Hyun Woo and was a superhit weekender back in 2021 and the actor also bagged the Grand Prize at the KBS Drama Awards for the same.
