King The Land is all about rainbows and unicorns and sunshine! The drama is a fluffy, candy floss romance which can be called feel-good in the truest sense of the word. The pièce de résistance of the drama is its main lead — Junho. The show reminds me of those classic rom-coms of dramaland (the ones that ruled our hearts in the 2000s and 2010s) — in a good way! I’m as keen as mustard for new JTBC fantasy rom-com Destined With You. Reasons — the lovely cast and the compelling plot. It is about a lawyer who is bound by a centuries old curse and a civil servant who can set him free with the help of a forbidden book that was sealed 300 years ago. Main leads are played by Rowoon (Tomorrow) and Jo Bo Ah (Tale Of The Nine Tailed). The main leads also have a 300 years old previous life connection. The past connection trope works here as it’s a history related fantasy story. Continue reading →

Half of 2023 is gone and half is left. Where did the time go?? July comes with a small list of new dramas — 3 of which are second seasons of older shows. There is a nice and limited mix to pick from. So without further ado, let’s have a look at it! Continue reading →

The Interest Of Love is an exploration of love and how every individual goes through its experience differently. It moves at a relaxed pace and is more character driven than plot. It is like an acquired taste — it might take some time to make you like it. I enjoyed it for the most part but it certainly didn’t leave me satisfied. Continue reading →
