A 2 episode drama is coming soon on JTBC called Han Yeo Reum’s Memory (which means A Midsummer’s Memory) and it looks quite thoughtful and melancholic. Starring Choi Kang Hee in the titular role, the show is about a radio program writer, played by her, who was once quite popular and had lots of luck in love but now she leads a lonely life and craves love. Lee Joon Hyuk stars as a pop music columnist and her ex boyfriend, while Tae In Ho (Man To Man) plays the PD in the radio department with a complicated relationship with her where they have feelings for each other but don’t act on it. Yoon Jin Yi (Discovery Of Love) plays a coworker who is passionate about her work and is dating a guy younger than her. Although only 2 episodes and sounding like a typical love triangle plot, the promo looks promising with the drama being full of depth and quality. Choi Kang Hee was last seen in Mystery Queen while Lee Joon Hyuk was in Forest Of Secrets, both highly praised dramas of 2017. Han Yeo Reum’s Memory is directed by the PD of Hip Hop Teacher and penned by a new writer. It will premiere on 31 December.
