Angel’s Last Mission: Love is coming up on KBS this Wednesday and I’m actually looking forward to it for its interesting premise. It is a fantasy romance where INFINITE‘S L plays a carefree angel and Shin Hye Sun stars as a cold ballerina. In order to return to heaven, he is given a mission — to make her fall in love. But well, as all our tales go, he falls for her instead. I really liked Shin Hye Sun in her first leading role in Thirty But Seventeen, so I’m looking forward to see an opposite character from that sugary sweet one. L was last seen in Miss Hammurabi. I know the drama deluge is drowning us in dramas and difficult decisions of what to start, what to skip and what to marathon later. This Monday three big networks premiered new shows — MBC brought Bad Papa, JTBC Beauty Inside and SBS premiered Where Stars Land (or Fox Bride Star). I had not written about the last one, so here is a preview, though the drama has already aired its first episode.

I’m super excited for new JTBC thriller Sketch as it stars Rain and sounds intriguing too, having a supernatural angle. Rain was amazing in action drama Fugitive Plan B and it’s great to see him back in the genre where he plays a detective. He is reuniting with Lee Dong Gun after 15 years as they both starred in 2003 melo Sang Doo, Let’s Go To School (that also starred Gong Hyo Jin). So happy that a show is starring leading men from early 2000s!

I came to know about Lee Dong Gun when I watched his 2004 drama Sweet 18 which was such a sweet and delightful watch. I really liked him as a responsible, caring and mature husband who gradually falls in love with his wife (played by Han Ji Hye) after they undergo an arranged marriage. After mandatory military service, he made his Continue reading →

Full of laughs and full of warmth.
I really liked the subtle, soft and indie-like start of The Interest Of Love.
