I’m a sucker for friends to lovers trope and that’s a reason enough to get excited for new ENA drama titled Love That Will Freeze To Death. The show is also going by another name Icy Cold Romance. It’s set around the background of variety shows. Another plus is the casting of Super Junior‘s Choi Si Won, who was amazing in dramas like She Was Pretty and The King of Dramas.

Lee Da Hee (I Hear Your Voice, Search: WWW) stars as a variety show PD and Choi Si Won plays the role of a plastic surgeon. Both characters have been friends for 20 years and are also neighbors. She is working as a PD for the past 10 years and is struggling for success in work and love. He is someone who has lost interest in love and work. He agrees to participate in her new show Kingdom of Love to help her out. Of course, while working together, their friendship starts to transform into more.

Love That Will Freeze To Death is written by the screenwriter of Syndrome and Joseon Survival. Both actors Lee Da Hee and Choi Si Won have other upcoming dramas too — Island and season 2 of Work Later, Drink Now respectively.
