I’m so excited for new JTBC drama The Interest Of Love. No fantasy. No thriller elements. No over the top shenanigans. Just low key and realistic romance. It is premiering this Wednesday and it will also be available on Netflix. Yay! It is anchored by the PD of dramas like Do You Like Brahms? (2020) and Switch: Change The World (2018).

The story is about four people with varying interests who meet each other at the Yeongpo branch of KCU Bank and get involved in romantic entanglements and understand the meaning of love. I love the vibe of the posters and stills too — indie like, soft and simple. And I like the cast!

Yoo Yeon Seok (Hospital Playlist) stars as a manager who aspires for a simple life. Moon Ga Young (True Beauty) plays a head teller who believes that love is fragile. Geum Sae Rok (Youth Of May) stars as an assistant manager who belongs to a rich family and has a straightforward nature. Finally, Jung Ga Ram (Love Alarm) plays the bank security guard, a sincere man who is preparing to become a police officer.

The Interest Of Love is based on a 2019 novel.
