I loved the 2003 movie Classic, a melodrama but so breathtakingly gorgeous and poignant, with an amazing soundtrack. And it is also the only thing i have seen Jo In Sung in. I love these pictures of Ha Ji Won featured in the June issue of InStyle Korea magazine. Not only are they beautiful, but they are so different from her usual badass image she adorns for films and dramas, especially in recent years. Be it the stuntwoman in fantasy-romance-comedy drama Secret Garden (2011) or the soldier in The King 2 Hearts (2012) or the latest movie The Huntresses, where she plays one of the warriors of Joseon era a la Charlie’s Angels kind of role. I like her in such roles, but it is refreshing to see her in a more feminine and girlish persona in these spreads. Continue reading

I loved Yoo Ah In in Sungkyunkwan Scandal, but then who didn’t?? He was sooooooo amazing in the role of rebellious Moon Jae Shin and his bromance with Song Joong Ki is one of the best in dramaland. Their camaraderie was superb and I loved the wild look of Yoo Ah In in the sageuk that came in 2010. After that, he starred in last year’s Fashion King, which is one of the worst shows ever. I could watch it for only 4 or 5 episodes and found him doing over acting at times. But of course, Yoo Ah In is a good actor and I just want to forget Fashion King ever happened. Continue reading

Photo shoots generally show our stars with loads of attitude and to a certain extent, different from their on screen image, but I love Park Min Young‘s pictures for CAMPAGNA’s summer 2013 campaign as she looks so natural and adorns a winning smile. She looks vibrant and cheerful, which is a welcome change from rather mundane and boring photos we see everyday. I first saw her in Sungkyunkwan Scandal, where she successfully played the cross dressing girl and looked really cute. Then she showed more cuteness and confidence in her acting with City Hunter. I’m not her fan but I like her as she exudes warmth and freshness in her acting. Continue reading
