The Midnight Romance In Hagwon has completed more than half of its journey. I’m liking it a lot for its low-key, subdued vibe with sometimes unique, sometimes realistic and natural moments and conversations. I’m always giddy for the main couple and I love the way it’s written. It surely reminds me of the PD’s previous shows’ pairings in terms of style. Continue reading

I’m low-key looking forward to new JTBC rom-com My Sweet Mobster. Despite the cutesy (but funny) bright pink posters, the Korean drama sounds cute and I’m always excited when an actor appears in a role that’s different from most of their previous ones. The film centers around a department store and it’s based on 2009 novel Jookeun Wangnyeoreul Wihan Pavane by Park Min Kyu. It has a top-notch cast that includes Go Ah Sung (Life On Mars), Byun Yo Han (Misaeng) and Moon Sang Min (Wedding Impossible). Continue reading

June doesn’t have a deluge of premieres but we are getting shows belonging to different kinds of genres. My overall interest level isn’t very high but I do think I can add some of them to my plan list. Continue reading
