Upcoming Korean drama Melo Movie has chosen an apt day for its premiere on Netflix — the show sounds like a perfect blend of romance and fun and it is premiering on Valentine’s Day this week. Year In Review: 2024 Korean Dramas

I watched more Korean dramas in 2024 than I did in the past few years. It was a mix bag for me as I loved some wholeheartedly, liked some but not completely and some shows disappointed towards the end (as always LOL). I also dropped some shows, in some cases within 5 minutes (*sigh*). The Tyrant’s Chef is an upcoming tvN drama that previously starred Park Sung Hoon (Squid Game 2) in the lead role but now the role will be played by Lee Chae Min (Hierarchy) after the former left the drama due to a recent controversy. A strange choice for replacement as the two actors are so different in terms of age and experience. Anyway, the drama is a time travel fantasy sageuk and is based on a web novel. Continue reading
