I’m eagerly waiting for the premiere of Strongest Deliveryman, which begins this week on 4th of August, in the new slot of Fridays and Saturdays for KBS, which till recently was home for universally loved The Best Hit (can’t wait to start it as well!). The drama tells the story of deliverymen and women who work so hard in their jobs Continue reading →

I have always loved Go Kyung Pyo, right from the very first time I saw him act in Flower Boy Next Door. He is such a natural actor and effortlessly charming. He has done supporting but important roles in shows like Tomorrow Cantabile, Reply 1988 (his story arc was so fascinating), Jealousy Incarnate and the recently wrapped Chicago Typewriter. The last two definitely cemented his status as a strong second lead. Hence, I’m so happy to read the news that Go Kyung Pyo will finally be seen as the main lead in upcoming KBS drama Strongest Deliveryman. Yay! Continue reading →

MBC is beginning the new year of its Monday-Tuesday slot with a sageuk and it’s titled Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People. The previous drama to occupy this timeline was low rated Night Light (which I’m planning to check out) — not its fault as it was against rating winner Romantic Teacher Doctor Kim. Anyway, Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People is set in the Joseon times and has famous folk hero Hong Gil Dong at its center. Continue reading →

The Monday-Tuesday slot over at KBS had been airing a pretty light-hearted drama in the form of Eccentric Daughter-in-law from a few weeks and the show ended its short 12 episode run last week. It passes the baton with same cheerful, bubbly tone to the follow-up drama Sassy, Go Go (yes, the title made me groan too). The show is actually in the line of School series as it’s about the trials and tribulations of being a high schooler. But the tone of Sassy, Go Go looks far more happy and gleeful than the shows of its ilk. Continue reading →

bh1 I started watching weekender What Happens To My Family when it started airing. I liked the warm, cozy and cute aura it had, with a really surprising great acting turn by Park Hyung Shik. Alas, RL does not always give you so much convenience to commit to a 50 episode series and hence, I ended up dropping it. The drama went on to become highly successful and received huge ratings which even reached 40%. The following drama is Bluebird’s House and it will start airing this Saturday. Continue reading →

Full of laughs and full of warmth.
I really liked the subtle, soft and indie-like start of The Interest Of Love.
