Is it too early to declare that I’m already in love with The Time I’ve Loved You (or The Time We Were Not In Love). I have consistently mentioned that more than anything, I wanted this drama to be simple and sweet, free from over-the-top shenanigans and it is delivering just that and some more. It’s a story about two best friends, Ha Na and Won, who have a nice relationship of bickering as well as affection. They have shared so much and I like Continue reading →

I totally love all three posters released by The Time I Loved You (previously called The Time I’ve Loved You 7000 Days), the Korean remake of hit and popular Taiwanese drama In Time With You. I’m glad that I haven’t seen the original as I won’t have anything to compare it with and I can watch it with a fresh perspective, taking in its strengths and weaknesses all on its own merit. From the time

The moment I read about the plans of remaking superhit Taiwanese drama In Time With You, instantly I got excited. Reason: I love stories where best friends turn into lovers! From what I have seen, I can think of three Kdramas which had that, brilliantly depicted in 9 Ends 2 Outs (also knows as Bottom Of The 9th with 2 Outs), Answer Me 1997 (awesome with capital A) and the other one being Coffee House (but it had a lot Continue reading →

100 Days With Mr. Arrogant, Ha Ji Won, Kdrama, Kim Jae Won, Korean Movie

This installment of Picture Perfect is from movie 100 Days With Mr. Arrogant with Ha Ji Won and Kim Jae Won. I watched this film a long time back before my K-drama love started. Both the leads are looking so young! The movie came in 2004 and later they both reunited in period drama Hwang Jin Yi. Continue reading →

I laughed out loud after reading the winners of 2013 MBC Drama Awards. Not that I expect anything substantial coming out of these channel award events as with past experiences, I have understood that they are all about popularity and ratings. But still, even when I kept that in mind, some of the winners left me flabbergasted and some of the actors or dramas that were left out made me realise how meaningless these awards can be. Yeah, these people still managed to surprise us even when we were ready for them! Continue reading →

The new Korean drama 'Sisyphus: The Myth' is not without flaws, but I found the first two episodes quite intriguing. The show is available on @netflix.
You would think since February is a shorter month, it would have lesser number of Korean drama premieres, compared to other months of the year. But dramaland is bringing a huge number of new dramas this February. Tap the link in bio to find the list!
