Not as many dramas are premiering in March as last month, but then I ended up watching only Vincenzo from that list (I did try Sisyphus: The Myth but dropped it after 4 episodes). So it’s not like long list equals more dramas. I see a lot of attractions this month, with genres ranging from thrillers-sci-fi to classic romcoms to period dramas. Here is the list! The upcoming MBC drama Oh! Master is shaping up to be on my plan to watch list. First, it has a cute rom-com plot, nothing original but having scope of providing dollops of romance and fun. Secondly, it stars Lee Min Ki who I really loved in 2017’s romance Continue reading →

I’m not a huge fan of medical dramas (although I did watch Doctors which was a rare case, all for the leads!). They just are so episodic in the patient-of-the-week manner and even if I do like it, it becomes perfunctory act to watch the hospital politics scenes *yawn*. Hence, I’m not too excited for upcoming MBC show Hospital Ship. But it at least has some new colours to paint the tried and tested genre — we have doctors who provide medical care to remote islands where no or insufficient health services are present, by travelling through a hospital ship. Entertainer is the new drama for the Wednesday-Thursday slot for SBS and I’m happy that it finally marked the end of my drama hiatus, which was not very long but still it was long enough for me to realise that I haven’t completed any 2016 drama yet! There were some that I tried and dropped and there are some that I’ve kept for a marathon. It’s great to be back on the live watching train. The thing about Entertainer is, despite its flaws, I’m actually liking it. Maybe it also has to do with the future potential of the story. Continue reading →

Full of laughs and full of warmth.
I really liked the subtle, soft and indie-like start of The Interest Of Love.
