I adore Park Min Young — she is so effortlessly charming in her acting, especially in romantic comedies (Her Private Life, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim). Some can argue that she has done a lot of those but I think she brings a different side to each of her characters even if all those dramas are light hearted romances. She has confirmed to star in new JTBC show Cruel Story of Office Romance. The other title is quite a mouthful — Meteorological Administration People: Office Romance Cruelty. Continue reading →

Revenge dramas are aplenty but the new JTBC drama comes with a fantasy twist. Chaebol Family’s Youngest Son tells the story of a man who has devotedly worked for a rich family for more than 10 years. He then proceeds to seek revenge against those who led to his destruction. Continue reading →

Well this is a surprise casting. I loved Ahn Eun Jin in Hospital Playlist (she played the cute resident Choo Min Ha), so I’m happy to see her in a leading role in upcoming JTBC drama Only One Person (also, Just One Person). The drama costars Park Sung Hoon (Into The Ring) and Kpop group Red Velvet‘s Joy (The Liar And His Lover). Continue reading →

A lot of expectations were set on new JTBC drama Sisyphus: The Myth — it stars the amazing Jo Seung Woo (Stranger, The Classic), it also stars one of the most popular Korean actresses, Park Shin Hye, the concept looks interesting with merging science and fantasy and it airs on current It channel JTBC. Like everyone else, I went into it with hopes of a great ride and after the first two episodes, I can say that I had a good time. It’s not without flaws but the show is intriguing and surely makes me want to know more. Continue reading →
