Dramaland is generously pouring the rainfall of noona romances on the viewers this year and the next one to join this bandwagon is Witch’s Romance, which is to be broadcast on cable channel tvN. The show stars Uhm Jung Hwa and Park Seo Joon as the couple who have scars from past relationships in love and displays how they heal each other’s wounds. Continue reading

On the heels of I Need Romance 3. tvN is bringing another noona romance to replace its time slot and this time we have Uhm Jung Hwa as the noona and Park Seo Joon as her leading man. This will be a small screen comeback for her after 5 years as her last venture into dramaland was The Man Who Can’t Get Married in 2007 that also starred Ji Jin Hee and Yoo Ah In. She mostly appears in films and I found her really cute and adorable in the only thing I’ve seen her in—Seducing Mr. Perfect—a light and fun rom-com after which I was head over heels in love with Daniel Henney. The moment you set foot in the world of Seducing Mr. Perfect, it doesn’t take much time to comprehend that the plot comes straight from the pages of a mills and boon novel. A tall, handsome, brooding and cold boss (not to mention, an expert in love) on one side and a cute, cheerful, unsuccessful in love, naive secretary on the other. But the movie works as does this boss-secretary romance, which never fails to interest us however many times we have seen or read about them. Continue reading
