The Midnight Romance In Hagwon is a unique experience as it’s filled with moments and conversations that are unique, at times realistic and have a natural vibe. It has a subtle, indie-like feel that I really dig. It has the distinct style of PD Ahn Pan Suk (who has directed shows like Something In The Rain, One Spring Night and Secret Love Affair), with the show soaked in muted colors and quiet, soothing air. The Midnight Romance In Hagwon has completed more than half of its journey. I’m liking it a lot for its low-key, subdued vibe with sometimes unique, sometimes realistic and natural moments and conversations. The Midnight Romance In Hagwon or simply The Midnight Romance is a show I’m most excited about with a “simply can’t wait” feeling! There are so many reasons for it — Wi Ha Joon (Little Women) in a lead role and that too a romantic one. Jung Ryeo Won (King Of Dramas) as his costar; she is one of my favorite actresses. The mood of the show — old school romantic, soothing vibe. The promotional material — Wi Ha Joon looks swoony and Jung Ryeo Won looks gorgeous. Everything looks so good! Continue reading →

Little Women is a powerful exploration of human psyche in the face of money, power and desperation. As a gripping and unnerving thriller, the show delivers thrills and emotions in spades.

Disney+ is coming up with a new drama, a crime thriller called The Worst Evil. It is about an investigation that’s carried out to bring down a drug ring spread across South Korea, Japan, and China. The premise has the potential to be a taut thriller and I like the cast, I’m interested for sure. Continue reading →
