I just started watching Gu Family Book and after completing two episodes, I can safely say that it’s really engaging and I can’t wait to watch the next episode. I’m glad I decided against my earlier decision to watch it live. Comfortably marathoning has its own charm. And now, I understood why everyone is talking about Cho Jin Hyuk. He is so good in the drama and yay that he will return in the upcoming episodes.

A few days back, it was reported that he was in talks to star in upcoming romantic comedy drama Heirs and now the confirmation has come that he will be starring as Lee Min Ho‘s older half-brother. This drama is surely bringing in some of the most likeable actors (as well as my favorites) and making me more and more impatient to wait for its premiere, which will be in October. The drama has already signed Park Shin Hye and Kim Woo Bin as other cast members.

Heirs is set in high school and will be about rich kids (okay, not really), and will be on the lines of Gossip Girl, being all trendy and showy, with lots of romance and comedy. It is written by the writer of shows like A Gentleman’s Dignity and Secret Garden. Choi Jin Hyuk will play the role of a bright young executive and a chaebol, perfect in everything. I’m so, so excited for Heirs, I’m running out of words to explain it. It will be aired on SBS as a Wednesday-Thursday drama with a total of 20 episodes. And here I was thinking that at least rom-coms still have 16 episodes.
