Usually I watch two episodes before putting down my thoughts on the first impressions I get after watching a drama. But I have made exceptions in the past when I’m so happy to watch the premiere episode that I jot down my feels well before the second episode. So here they are — my first impressions for She Was Pretty. Continue reading →

Kill Me Heal Me is an impressive case of a drama where it was engulfed in problems from the start but then as soon as it locked down its cast finally, everything went up from there. It went on to become a hit and popular drama and cementing the belief that Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum have a great chemistry and ability to bring success together (as they Continue reading →

I’m pleasantly surprised by these pictures of Hwang Jung Eum featured in Marie Claire in its February issue. I’ve only seen her in Incarnation Of Money where her character was super annoying and loud for most part and hence the impression was not good. From whatever stills of her current drama Kill Me Heal Me that I’ve seen, I get the same vibes and so I’m not too keen to check that show out even if I’m reading lots of good things about how much fun it is. I do like Ji Sung a lot but I cannot watch two similar shows and I chose Hyun Bin‘s Hyde, Jekyll, Me as I was eagerly waiting for his small screen comeback.  Continue reading →

Kill Me, Heal Me marks the first premiere of 2015 in dramaland and has shaped up quite nicely since the hullabaloo in its initial casting rounds and finally securing successful pairing of Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum as the leads in this show about multiple personalities for the hero, seven to be exact. Ji Sung plays a third generation super rich businessman who suffers from multiple personality disorder after encountering some Continue reading →

The year is ending with another reunion announcement as Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum will be acting together for the second time in forthcoming drama Kill Me Heal Me after their successful turn in last year’s melodrama Secret. I think it’s great when leads reunite after many years but when your second outing is just on the heels of the first, the excitement is not strong enough. Also I don’t think this pairing was as magical or classic that viewers would be dying to see them together again. That said, I like Ji Sung a lot and I’m glad he is doing a new drama! Plus, the drama has cast all in all good leads and thus increased some hope in it. Continue reading →

Full of laughs and full of warmth.
I really liked the subtle, soft and indie-like start of The Interest Of Love.
