The oldest K-drama I have seen is My Love Patzzi, that came in 2002 but I watched it in 2012. It starred two of the actors that I have known since my starting point of the journey in K-entertainment. Kim Rae Won, the hero of my first step My Little Bride and Kim Jae Won, hero of my second step, 100 Days With Mr. Arrogant. I find Kim Jae Won really charming and I have seen him in two completely different roles: the arrogant guy (obviously) in the movie and the caring, good-hearted chaebol in the drama. Continue reading

I just started watching Gu Family Book and after completing two episodes, I can safely say that it’s really engaging and I can’t wait to watch the next episode. I’m glad I decided against my earlier decision to watch it live. Comfortably marathoning has its own charm. And now, I understood why everyone is talking about Cho Jin Hyuk. He is so good in the drama and yay that he will return in the upcoming episodes.

I loved the 2003 movie Classic, a melodrama but so breathtakingly gorgeous and poignant, with an amazing soundtrack. And it is also the only thing i have seen Jo In Sung in. Okay, this may not be a squeeworthy news for me like so many other viewers, but I’m definitely happy with Joo Won signing on his next drama. The reason is very simple: I haven’t seen any of his dramas (I know!!), and the only thing I’ve seen him in is the first episode of his last show Level 7 Civil Servant which proved to be utterly disappointing. And I was saved from the pain of watching it (thanks to my real life works, I had to postpone it). Continue reading
