Now this is what I call a casting win! The newly premiered KBS drama Miracle That We Met stars Kim Myung Min, Ra Mi Ran and Kim Hyun Joo in the lead roles in a fantasy filled story. I loved him in King Of Dramas, a brilliant show where he was simply perfect. I have only seen Kim Hyun Joo as Lee Min Ho‘s sister in megahit Boys Before Flowers but that was enough to make me like her a lot. And well, Ra Mi ran was one of the main reasons to make Reply 1988 so awesome. Hence, this drama will surely have some great acting to see if nothing else. Continue reading →

Buam Dong Revenge Social Club (also going with the title Avengers Social Club) looks like it will be the dark horse in the deluge of new dramas that are starting in October. It boasts an awesome trio of actresses with a plot centering around their friendship, bonding and revengeful spirit. It is about three women from three walks of life who have suffered through harsh times and how they come together to avenge the wrongdoers. Answer Me franchise is known for two things: first — being realistic and down to earth, bringing a sense of nostalgia, being an emotional roller coaster and having awesome moments with so much heart that you can’t help but love the characters and those moments. The second is the infamous mystery about who is going to end up with the heroine. So the enjoyment and appreciation of this show depends on your preference. If you are annoyed by this mystery, and don’t want to give Answer Me 1988 a chance, it’s going to be a great loss as the show is brilliant.
