Normally every month brings new Korean dramas for us to savour but this March seems especially flooded with many drama premieres and all seem very interesting for a variety of reasons. Good thing is, there is something for everyone, if you are choosy with the genre and the actors. Best way to keep a track is to make a list and hopefully the following list would be helpful: Continue reading →

tvN is bringing another fantasy drama to its roster after recently premiered Hotel Del Luna. The new show is slated to start today, and is titled When The Devil Calls Your Name. It reunites Jung Kyung Ho and Park Sung Woong after well-loved 2018 drama Life on Mars. The show is inspired by the 18th century German play Faust. It surely sounds fresh and intriguing. Oh this film looks like a cracktastic comedy! Park Sung Woong, who I’m currently watching in serious melodrama Hundred Million Stars From The Sky, is starring in new comedy movie The Man Inside Me along with Jin Young, who was super sweet in 2016 drama Moonlight Drawn By The Clouds. The film is about soul swapping where the former plays a gangster and the latter Continue reading →

Hundred Million Stars From the Sky or The Smile Has Left Your Eyes is in its third week but I recently finished the first two episodes of this intriguing drama that stars Seo In Guk (totally killing it in this role!), Jung So Min and Park Sung Woong in the lead roles and is a Korean adaptation of immensely popular 2002 Japanese drama called Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi. I have not seen the original, hence there is nothing to compare and I guess that’s a good thing for me. Plus, this type of drama requires suspense and I’m happy to be curious, spooked and thrilled in this ride. Continue reading →

It is like a wish come true when two of your favorite actors are cast together in a drama and new tvN melo Hundred Million Stars From The Sky aka The Smile Has Left Your Eyes is one such show, that stars Seo In Guk and Jung So Min in the lead roles. The drama is a Korean remake of popular 2002 Japanese drama Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi (also, One Million Stars Falling from the Sky). I’ve read that it is a dark tale but since I’m someone who hate spoilers, I never read details about it. Korean dramas tend to be relatively lighter, so I guess we can expect that from Hundred Million Stars From The Sky as well.
