Last week saw the premiere of Different Dreams, a historical drama, on MBC. I know it’s a very long gap since I last posted – my schedule and work kept me busy. I want to check out Different Dreams for many reasons. The cast is one of them and the setting is another. Continue reading →

Buam Dong Revenge Social Club (also going with the title Avengers Social Club) looks like it will be the dark horse in the deluge of new dramas that are starting in October. It boasts an awesome trio of actresses with a plot centering around their friendship, bonding and revengeful spirit. It is about three women from three walks of life who have suffered through harsh times and how they come together to avenge the wrongdoers. The drama is a small screen adaptation of the eponymous webtoon published from 2014 to 2016. Continue reading →

He is back with a new drama titled Night Light and well, it looks like an Continue reading →

I have been a bit busy from past few weeks and so I couldn’t write about two dramas that I’m really interested in watching and nearly forgot about them till I realised they are both premiering today. Memory on tvN and Ms. Temper & Nam Jung Gi on JTBC. Let’s start with Memory. It stars Lee Sung Min! Need I say more. I love him and this is his reunion with tvN after Misaeng, so expectations are bound to be high to get another Continue reading →

Wow. The new posters are out for upcoming political thriller drama Empire Of Gold, that spans over two decades to tell its story. It has power-packed starcast consisting of Go Soo, Lee Yo Won and Son Hyun Joo in the lead roles, all characters struggling for gain of power of a large chaebol empire. Well, in these kind of shows, mostly there is no one who is whiter than white and the characters are complex. That can be seen from the moody and intense posters, which are truly impactful with brilliant use of light and scarcity of colors, making them all the more stylish. Continue reading →

Full of laughs and full of warmth.
I really liked the subtle, soft and indie-like start of The Interest Of Love.
