I found Ahn Hyo Seop absolutely adorable in his supporting role in 2018 drama Still 17 (aka Thirty But Seventeen). He has since starred in leading roles in shows like Abyss and Dr. Romantic 2 but I haven’t seen both so I’m not sure how he performed as the main lead. He has confirmed his next drama role in SBS romantic comedy Office Blind Date. In addition to this, he will be appearing in a historical role in upcoming drama Red Sky along with Kim Yoo Jung. The Uncanny Counter is the latest thriller from OCN, a network known for this genre. Also named Amazing Rumor, the drama will have a supernatural, fantasy angle to it. It follows the story of a group of demon hunters known as ‘Counters’ who live on earth, disguised as the employees of a noodle restaurant. Their mission is to track down evil spirits. This team is formed by the characters played by Jo Byung Kyu, Yoo Joon Sang, Kim Sejeong, Yum Hye Ran and Ahn Suk Hwan, each having distinct special abilities. Continue reading
