Lee Jun Ki is back in another action packed thriller titled Lawless Lawyer where he plays a former gangster turned lawyer who fights against the absolute power and is fueled by the desire to take revenge for his mother. He takes advantage of the loopholes in the system and has a very high success rate. As a bonus, the drama reunites him with his The Time Between Dog And Wolf director, which many consider one of his best ones but I have yet to see it. Finally! Hyun Bin has confirmed that he will be returning to small screen with tvN drama Memories Of The Alhambra, a fantasy from the genre expert writer Song Jae Jung (Queen In Hyun’s Man, Nine, W – Two Worlds) and PD of highly praised thriller Forest Of Secrets. It’s a great production team and another reason to look forward to this show, aside from its leading man. I dropped Hyun Bin’s last show Hyde, Jekyll, Me as I was finding it as interesting as watching paint dry and was hoping for him to do another great drama to enjoy his charismatic acting. I’m pretty late to the party of last year’s Because This Life Is Our First lovers but better late than never! I completely loved the drama except some last minute hiccups. Among the oodles of reasons for the adoration, the soundtrack of the show is a prime highlight. It is very soothing, soft, low-key and yet very strong. Not only on the main central couple, but the songs are played on the other two secondary couples as well, who also are an important part of the story and its meaning.
