Finally Descendants Of The Sun premiered this week after flooding dramaverse with endless conversations about it since the time it was revealed that writer Kim Eun Sook is working on her next project. And what a premiere it was — the show received one of the highest first episode ratings with episode 1 and 2 clocking 14.3 and 15.5 ratings respectively (Source). Continue reading

Cheese In The Trap is the new tvN sensation which is gaining public interest and love week after week. It is based on a webtoon with a huge fandom and I think it has found its place in everyone’s heart. I haven’t read it so I’m glad I don’t have to take the original as a yardstick to measure how good Cheese In The Trap is but for now I’m finding it really good, very quirky, different and unpredictable. Let’s be honest here — all of us are watching Oh My Venus for one sole reason: So Ji Sub and Shin Min Ah and with hopes for them to have a crackling chemistry. And so with this notion I’m writing my first impressions for the new rom-com on KBS. To sum it up in one sentence, I didn’t find it very good but I liked the characters and want to see more of them. It was an uphill task to finally start Village: Secret of Achiara, the new SBS drama, as the English subtitles were not available readily. Thankfully, the show is not getting subbed and I managed to watch first two episodes. I’m finding it very interesting and something very different from what we usually see in dramaland.
