Producers provides buckets of entertainment, humour and a fun time with an excellent cast and camaraderie. Don’t let the episode length of more than 1 hour concern you for picking up this show, because for me, the episodes never seemed long and more than anything, it provided me an enjoyable ride from start to finish. The cute romance salted with murder mystery about a serial killer and punctuating everything with a supernatural ability — the result is a show which isn’t flawless but manages to find a place in your heart. Ho Goo’s Love is a cute, little drama with adorable characters populating its world. It’s darker than expected and cuter than expected. This is an amusing dichotomy but this ride is exceptionally heart-warming.
The story revolves around Ho Goo, a very kind-hearted, naïve, shy, a bit timid young man who never had any girlfriend. Do Hee is the national swimming champion. He suddenly meets his first love, Do Hee, one day and how his life takes a different turn after that, makes up the rest of the show. Continue reading

For past 2-3 years, many dramas are taking their story as adaptations from novels and mostly webtoons. Some nail it and some result in failure. Three Musketeers is an excellent example of how to take a world-famous work and blend it efficiently with historical events of Korea. The drama is a nice motley of action, adventure, heroism, bromance, humour and romance. The drama also marked my first sageuk in 2 years after dropping Gu Family Book. And it’s actually my second sageuk, the other being Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Continue reading

Pinocchio is a very warm drama that beautifully presents a good mix of idealism, heart and humour. Just like its writer’s previous shows Dream High and I Hear Your Voice. It garnered good ratings and although it didn’t become head-over-heels-in-love for me, I did admire it from start to finish. Continue reading
