Last week saw premieres by all major networks except one. KBS is bringing its new drama this week with Matrimonial Chaos (also, The Best Divorce/ The Greatest Divorce).  Let’s see how the final ranking turns out. The other Monday-Tuesday dramas are Bad Papa (MBC), Where Stars Land (SBS) and Beauty Inside (JTBC), with 100 Days My Prince (tvN) being an older Continue reading →

I loved The Producers, overall and especially in its initial days when it experimented with a brand new format of mixing elements of drama and variety, a mockumentary style to tell its narrative. Unfortunately it dropped that style to fit in with the large audience’s demand. The broadcast network KBS thankfully wanted to bring this refreshing treatment back again and hence, we have that in the form of The Best Hit. p1 Producers provides buckets of entertainment, humour and a fun time with an excellent cast and camaraderie. Don’t let the episode length of more than 1 hour concern you for picking up this show, because for me, the episodes never seemed long and more than anything, it provided me an enjoyable ride from start to finish. I was delaying to start much-hyped The Producers as its more than 60 minutes length was making me avoid it for other shorter things. But a few days back, when I didn’t have anything new to watch, I finally decided to throw my hat in the ring — and what a rewarding decision it turned out to be! I haven’t laughed so much for a drama in recent days and after completing 2 episodes, I can safely say that I love it! Continue reading →

With all confirmations in, Producer is shaping up to be the most anticipated and star-studded drama in the upcoming bunch. Cha Tae Hyun, Gong Hyo Jin, Kim Soo Hyun and IU star in this show about behind the scene happenings of variety land. Personally I’m not at all a variety or reality show fan but I’m all in for some drama-behind-drama shenanigans! The drama held script reading a few days back and the Continue reading →

Full of laughs and full of warmth.
I really liked the subtle, soft and indie-like start of The Interest Of Love.
