Not as many dramas are premiering in March as last month, but then I ended up watching only Vincenzo from that list (I did try Sisyphus: The Myth but dropped it after 4 episodes). The King: Eternal Monarch is a classic case where the combination of hottest stars, magnificent sets, production quality, intriguing premise and top writer doesn’t result in a satisfying ride. One of the most anticipated dramas of the year, it fails big time in terms of writing and execution. Of course, there are some good bits and pieces but that doesn’t outweigh the numerous shortcomings.

The King: Eternal Monarch, the highly anticipated drama with top writer Kim Eun Sook at the helm and hot stars like Lee Min Ho, Kim Go Eun and Woo Do Hwan, has finally premiered and has aired 4 episodes, and is well in its third week.
