I said this before watching the first two episodes of new KBS drama Curtain Call and I felt it while watching too — it has old school drama vibes, in a good way. Korean dramas about behind the scenes shenanigans can be a hit or a miss. Some shows that based their plot on it are The World That They Live In (2008), Entourage (2016), King Of Dramas (2012) and The Producers (2015). The latest tvN drama Behind Every Star is also based on the entertainment industry and is a remake of French TV show Dix pour cent or Call My Agent! (2015 – Present). It is about the lives and relationships and struggles of actors and their managers.
